Hi i had a problem like this a while ago on my NA. i found out it was the piston that goes into the servo sticking! if you look at the servo mounting bracket there is a cut out where you can see the piston, just give it a spray with some lube and that should do the trick!!

ooh that sounds too good to be true
iam off to have a look thumbsup thumbsup

hmm ive had alook under the dash at the piston and at a spare servo assembley i have and it could be the problem but the problem is defo heat related and i dont see it getting hot under the dash! also i have had the servo replaced before and whilst it did appear to fix the problem it started to reapear after only 12 months or so. okay just had another look at the spare servo it has a yellow plastic sleeve over the piston an this could be the problem!! will get sum silicon grease tonight and have a go fingers crossed. wiil try post pics later tim. thumbsup

Appears we have a solution to this problem

The white piston pictured above is sticking. Rasputin somehow managed to grease his using a cable tie, I used wd40, ideally I'll be looking to use grease but need to work harder on the logistics of getting in there!!!!
