As some of you may remember, we had a batch of soft-top roof bags made several years ago.
The OEM ones aren't made from the best material, and it tends to melt if accidentially hung near the exhaust.

Anyway, to cut a long story short our first batch of 10 all those years ago sold and we bought more material to have another batch made, but never got around to getting them made!
I finally took the materials in a few weeks ago and I have another batch. The material is no waterproof, however they are extremely good quality and protect and keep your roof and bars neat and tidy thumbsup
As I said, I bought this material a few years ago and was told it had come from the Burberry factory that was closing in Wales at the time? The material was used on their suits apparently?

The bags are made to the same specifications as the OEM bags, size, cord, toggles etc and the workmanship is excellent.
They are £20 each plus £3 postage (1st class recorded)
If anybody would like one, please pm me
Heres some pics:

Bah! I bought some cordura and made my own. If I'd know you made some at this price I'd have saved my effort. Good price that.

thanks Matt chinky chinky You could always have 2 ;) We bought the roll around 3-4 years ago, they only had one, and as we bought the whole roll we got it at a decent price which has enabled us to have them made at a fair price. The material is excellent quality also - as you would expect for Burberry   I'll be listing them on ebay at some point, but for a higher price to cover the fees :grouphug:

When you mentioned Burberry Liz, I was half expecting to see a chavved up soft-top bag in burberry check. I'd have had two if that had been the case! Good luck with the sales. Don't imagine you'll have any trouble shifting them.

If anyone is also interested, we had a batch of fleeced-lined hardtop bags made the same time as the original batch of soft-top bags (must be 4/5 yars ago). I have 1 left and have been meaning to advertise it for some time.
The outer material is extremely thick, heavy duty, and waterproof, with a sewn-in full fleece lining. They have 3 velcro flaps to the side, as per the OEM bags, and also 2 carry-handle straps.
We will not be making anymore of these bags and just have the 1 left. We would like £80 plus postage for it, which is the same price we were selling them for all those years ago
Heres some pics.

And I'll vouch for the quality of the hardtop bag. Lovely bit of kit and has been safely caring for my hardtop for a few years now. thumbsup
