tunnel for spa is better than ferry, my crossing is less than 100quid return. and you can can accross for a bit less, if you chose less convinient times. So not Mega expensive. Your Le Mans crossing will be around three times that.

Spa and le Mans.

Im up for doing both !

There can be only one

Spa is SO on my to do list but I think it's a bit too risky as a social trip due to weather and the fact that Spa is quite dangerous....

Yea i know Posted Image ...but id go with the masses i guess. I did promise myself i do Spa and the ring this season though and im only a
click away from booking up.

Voted for LM. Spa is the best track in the world, but an expensive day, with expensive accomodation and lack of a decent social focus or anything for Mrs P to do. Also requires a precious day of AL. The Bugatti is a great track reasonably priced, dirt cheap hotel, possibility of another party night and all in a weekend.

Spa, June 4th is the Spring bank holiday , you get 4th and 5th off, whereas Le Mans weekend you'd have to take Monday off for the return trip.

Honestly, Spa is the greatest roller coaster for cars, TV and video does it no justice at all about the gradients.

After much thought I have gone for Spa with Goldtrack on June 4th. Comparing the total cost of Spa vs Le Mans, I think it will be roughly the same. About £1k (assuming MB+Bugatti for Le Mans). But as a contractor I cannot ignore the fact that for Le Mans I have to take an extra 2 days holiday, which I will not be paid for. This works out as a few pennies. Be it Le Mans or Spa that wins...I will still be there for either. :)

I'm on holiday on the 4th June, so if it is Spa I'm out! I'm not sure how many more will vote as some people are quite happy going along with the masses, and don't care where we go!
