Dear Le Restaurant Fabrice Kent Restaurant Awards 2009 Congratulations - your restaurant has been voted as one of the best in Kent! Over 300 restaurants were nominated and in excess of 6800 votes cast. As a leading contender you are invited into the judging phase. We have a panel of respected judges from the food industry and local business lined up to assess the finalists. Entering the judging phase will immediately entitle you to use the official Kent Restaurant Awards Finalist 2090 logo in your marketing activities. You also stand to win one of the prizes generously donated by our sponsors. In addition to looking for exceptional cooking with exemplary service and general ambience, judges will be awarding additional marks for the use of fresh, wholesome, local and seasonal produce with known provenance, where there is an emphasis on sustainability and humane farming practices.
The voting is based on marks allocated out of 100 for the following:
Ã˜ Quality of the food 50% Ã˜ Service 20% Ã˜ Ambience 10% Ã˜ Local produce 10% Ã˜ Provenance/Sustainability 10%

The awards will be presented at The Ashford International Hotel on Thursday 28th January 2010, commencing with a Champagne reception at 7.00pm, then dinner, followed by the ceremony and dancing until two oclock The winners will be also announced on the website and to national food journalists, restaurant guide editors, trade press and local media.
