Thought I might share a few of these photos with others on here. After a recent re-spray and tart up I still wasn't happy with the overall finish of the paintwork. I thought a Correction Detail might be worth while so got in touch with Matt of Prestige Reflections in Cardiff and all I can say is I'm mighty pleased with the results thumbsup

Speaking to Matt after the detail he explained the paint was very soft and the cut of polish/pad used by the body shop was too agressive, however the overall paint job was good.

Original thread can be found here VX220 Detail - Detailing World

Here's a selection of some of the photos:

Car had not been cleaned since the snow and I'd racked up some motorway mileage over the last few weeks so the car was looking fairly sorry for itself!!

Stunning results... So much depth to the paint now. Would have thought a trade wax may have been used as oppozed to supernatural, although the dodo juice range is amazing.

Mines getting Pc'd at the end of this month, from a mate who lives in Cardiff :) Will be sure to post up results.

Seems theres a few of us around this area then.

Ha Ha the Crocs are not me :gayfight:

As for the tyre, guilty as charged your honour!! :beat:

As for using Dodo Juice Supernatural rather than a trade option wax, I can't think of any decent trade waxes to be honest and as I've purchased a load of Dodo juice products, it seemed the obvious choice. Regardless of wax I believe the most important product during the correction is surely the polish thumbsup

JimmyJJ - I'm sure you won't be disappointed. When are you booked in?

Adam

Maybe I'll enter it into the monthly competition now! :groupjump: :gayfight:

In the last 24 hours I've had 3 people approach me to talk about the car and countless people looking at it. Feels like it's new again!

You just need the black kit on yours (vee, window surround) and you be a finished product then!!
