hi i guys ive been member for a while now but have never been too active in conversations but would like to get more involved ive had my vx n/a for around about a year now and am half way through the project, car was originaly bought as silver and i have started by giving it a full paint job in a 3 stage pearl white, which looks fantastic in the sun now that its white i didnt think the sunstrip looked right so i had that painted matt black, and at the same time all the grills and vents painted black just to freshen them up. i have fully carpeted the interior as it is an every day car for me and thought it made it more comftable and am currently in the middle of getting all the interior plastics colour coded white. i have a turbo spoiler and a hardtop at the bodyshop getting paited pearl white as we speak so they will be the next mods. other things in the pipe line is engine bay dress up try and make it look nice, id like front splitters and a rear diffusser and also little things like replace the rusting petrol bolts ill get more before and after pictures on here as and when i have lots of pictures of the car getting paited, prepped etc through the stages on a different camera that i will put up orry for the poor quality of pictures first time ive posted pics and i had to scale them all down as it wouldnt let me do it

will look nice i think with glass black wheels (doesnt matter which wheels, those new comp would be good tho), the rear spoiler i think might look better black than white aswell and turbo rear lights aswell are deffinatly needed.

Personally, not 100% convinced. It looks a bit too much like a kit car that's still in primer.

Secret is I did it myself I'm head painter at Bodytec so it cost me materials which at trade price came to £240 I'd say if I had paid it would of been around 1000 as it was all striped down and stone chips done was no damage on it before so there was no repair work, apart from the sills they are being repaired by the panel shop because of cracks where it's been leant on I'm the catalyst behind getting Bodytec vx220 approved lol so like I say anyone in the midlands might be worth a try could do a good deal also that exige rear panel looks great on the vx I'd there loads of modifying to get that on ???

IIRC it's not an Exige panel, it's bespoke for the VX.

Really where the hell do you find them then I bet there rare I've never seen onemlike that before And rsg I think I agree with you I colour coded it when I did the rest with the view to black it if I went with that theme and I think it might look better with black v, spoiler and fuel cap
