Going to be very dull to watch. Track with very little overtaking, coupled with red bulls being massively faster than anyone else, due to their understanding of the rules being better than the rest. Like Brawn last year.

Maybe the VX will need washing instead.

can't decide if I can be bothered to watch this , no chance of any freak snow storms or something , a couple of safety car incidents , otherwise I can see the red bulls lapping everyone, 70 laps , over a second advantage

After last weekend I'm done planning my weekend around F1 until and unless the end of the season title fight gets interesting. Add to that what is likely to be a very processional race even by F1 standards . . .

Well, I really should get out and work on the VX anyway.

I had someone attempt to do a similar thing to me this week, two lanes merging into one in the hight street!
He cut right in on me, I had to back off at the last second to avoid contact, or he would have hit me.
Then further along, when stopped at the traffic lights he started shouting etc...such anger! Over nothing! Crazy world!

quite enjoyed the race. Msc should be slammed for what he did to Rubens. Well done Mark but disappointed that Vettel didn't get past Alonso.

I hated MSC when he was at ferrari, but respected he was a great driver, especially in the wet. Now I just hate him and wish he would just leave - he is a joke. I hope the fia through the book at him and the last person he should try and put in a wall is Rubens, he must have got a very short memory - what a prick. thumbsdown

Hi all,

Well in watching the replays of Rubens and that German its clear Herr Schumacher has no regard for human life whatsoever. A deliberate block to make up for his complete lack of talent of driving a decent car quickly.

He should take a long look at himself and the conclusion should be 'shame' Mercedes will be furious I know from their sportscars and DTM driver programmes if certain drivers behave in a dangerous way its a sin, and are quietly dropped lets see.

He should stop, before he hurts someone and the FIA should talk to him, his antics are not needed in this age - he's a dinosaur.

Rubens should be applauded for his courage and self belief and I can well imagine he will take great pride in passing a man who stopped him from winning more than one or ten GP's when they were team mates.

Herr Schumacher - payback time, its not racing putting someone into a barrier at 180 mph.

Cast our minds back to the same track some years ago a certain pass between Messrs Senna and Mansell a different world, Senna's commitment was there to see but also an understanding that there is a limit and Mansell knew where the line was, both had mutual respect for each other, What Schumacher did was just ham fisted and crude and lucky the pitwall ended when it did.

I have a suggestion - join Montoya and go NASCAR racing maybe that's more youre line these days.

Cheers
Ian

You have to applaud Rubens courage to carry on, I think most would of bottled it
But it was absolutely ridiculous what happened

Bad luck to Hamilton, any reasons for Button being so off the pace?
And if vettel was soo much faster why couldn't he close on Alonso, dirty air or not
And didn't he look happy on the podium

10 place grid penalty in Belgium.

Track doesn't really allow overtaking hence vettel and to an extent buttons pace.
Rubens was 3.5 seconds a lap quicker than michael but struggled to pass.

Forgot about the track not allowing overtaking

Is 10 places really enough for what could of easily killed rubens or them both?

I'm not one to be dramatic but that was inches away from seriously injuring/killing someone.
Maybe a race ban would've been more of a punishment.

 overtaking is allowed in Hungary, it's just that it's a difficult track to overtake on...... :tt:

If Barrichello had touched that wall he would have probably taken out Schumacher with him - outcome at that speed does not bear thinking about. IMO Schumacher is just an ungracious loser. He knew he was slower. He knows Barrichello still has it whilst he hasn't.

Vettel had been told that Alonso was faster... So there was no way he would pass him.
