I had to pay £200 for drawings
If I can sell five units
I get my £200 back

Unit cost
Gripper £595
Quaife £585

Group buy price (£536 for 5)

The beauty of this item is that one can tune to ones requirements

There was a thread a few days ago that vocky said the only reason you can use an M32 box with the current drive shatfs wase that the splins where wrong.

If they could do the option of M32 diff with F23 splines it would be a good route to a 6 speed conversion.

unique splines would not be an issue but the consideration will be shaft dia at the sealface on the gearbox itself if the m32 uses a greater dia driveshaft, then when you fit an f23 and find that it is loose with trans oil pissing out

Still can't get my head around whether LSD's are good, bad or indifferent (let alone the pro's/con's of the various types) thing to have. Gearboxes and differentials in general make my head explode, everytime I try to understand how they work.  But, an M32 box -> F23 driveshaft conversion via the LSD would be a great way to fit the 6-speed box.

It's not techie enough for me, Lee. If it was an all electronic diff, I'd probably have more chance of understanding it. We're talking proper oily engineering bits here and that's way out of my comfort zone. :(

If a car inherently understeers (due to weight bias), wouldn't adding more rear grip/traction only exaggerate this?

thx for the quick reply! another question coming right up :P I know what purpose an lsd serves on a car's handling (I was quite shocked when I found out the VX doesn't have one standard ) , I also have a basic notion how they work thanks to the old faithful website howstuffworks.com lol.. I am however looking at that thing without a clue what is it suposed to do =P did a quick search on google but found nothing useful, care to explain what are the inserts for?

its a VERY simple/pikey plate diff.... I've seen it done with reasonable success before. Good in classes where you arent 'supposed' to fit an LSD
