Works for me, however the driver makes just as big a difference drag racing as anywhere else.

Here are the theoretical stats and they tell a true story of the cars difference as opposed to the drivers, 1/4 mile time and speed across the line. Apolgies to na owners but there are no corners on the 1/4 mile :D

Vauxhall VX220 14.72 92.62
Vauxhall VX220 Turbo 13.49 101.85
Vauxhall VXR220 13.09 105.21

If anybody can beat the benchmark in an unmodded car I'll buy them a hot dog. If yours is modded you can caluclate the theoretical time. Calculations factor power, drivetrain and weight but not grip and set-up.

My best was 13.56 in a std. VXR. Cheeky ran 12.alot in his stage 2 VXR.

I was about to say you couldn't get your sleeve caught on the door handle but you could give yourself a nasty bruise on the lock striker pin. It may not be the stuff of screen legend but you've got to start somewhere.

how about we prove it?

nothing to prove really until you get an NA with ptw of 260bhp/ton+

my old stage 2 2.2 i did 14.4, 98mph
current stage 2 vxr (on toyo proxies) 12.89, 107mph

1 second @100mph = 40 meters, so thats puts me 50m+ ahead thumbsup :D
