Happened to see today (advertised in "Automobile Revue"– out today).

Delta-Motor are selling their supercharged Speedster. ( Should perhaps make clear that I am not associated with D-M in any way – apart from actively lusting after their supercharger/Oehlins upgrades as a potential customer  and that they have no knowledge of me posting this). These are the details:

210bhp D-M supercharger conversion
Oehlins suspension
17"/18" alloys
"low" mileage
A1 condition
12 months guarantee
Colour is yellow. Black leather (also has fogs, footrest 'n VDO IIRC).

Asking price is 38,000 Swiss francs. Just checked on the BBC market data page and £1 buys 2.29050 Swiss francs, so that means it costs £16,590.26

This is the car I testdrove last year – had to control myself as at that spec and price, you almost get the car itself free! Sanity prevailed – I've resisted the temptation (though would have been ideal for the Hockenheim meet at Whit – click
HERE for info and see page four :) )

Still waiting to see if we can get the 111R ABS upgrade before I commit myself to modding – otherwise...

Here's a pic of the car I took on my test drive – it's nice! Should make someone happy...

It does look nice, still dont like the 18" wheels on the back though, but you're right, its a steal at that price.

Specially made for D-M Bit heavy though I suspect – they couldn't tell me when I asked. Fronts 7x17, rears 8x18

For English values, yes. But for my Speedster with all factory options (incl. hardtop) and only not even 7,000 miles, I would have to happy if I got much over £10K here in Switz. :(

Like the wheels in 17s. Might even have some knuckles left after cleaning them as well!

Looks great, and £16k would be a fantastic price, BUT: LHD Tax Import Duty Lots of other stuff that I can't remember. Not so reasonable anymore :( If you can get the bits, though :groupjump:

D-M wheels are only available from D-M (!) – link is above.

The boss, Felix Wyder (pronounced Faylix Veeder), can communicate in English...

Thought I‘d mention that I happened to find this car is for sale again from a Lotus dealer in Switz.

Now done a grand total of 13,125 miles and the asking price is SFr34,000 (= ca. £15K)

First registered May 2002, still got the Öhlins and 17"/18" wheels.

Courtenays have experience with the D-M S/C, so a UK purchaser would not be without anywhere to turn to.

They speak english (at least the boss does).

Don‘t forget it‘s lhd though! :)
