Because however perfect these match the originals, you would tell the difference between a new one on one side and a ~15 year old one on the other side.

Any chance of an update. Seems like at least 50 pairs after the usual dropout rate will be sold.

If this is stil happening, I'd be very happy to buy a N/A pair!

Simple answer - yes, 60 buyers is plenty. Work is in progress and bits of my car are being loaned to the project. I'll have an update shortly.

Whats the market rate for an OEM NA drivers sill cover in good condition?

They're impossible to find, so bloody expensive even if you can find a good one. 

 

My VX is currently running around without sill covers, as they are now, for the second time, with a manufacturer for measurements etc. Should have proper news on this within the next few days. 

 

While I'm at it, is there any point in making new black cover bits that fit around the boot catch (in the boot)? Mine is missing - is that common? It's the same production technique as the sills, so same manufacturer could do it.

Not sure which bit you are thinking of... Or maybe mine is missing too!
