Friday work musing - Seen one of these on SELOC and had a wee Google..   http://www.cplracing...p?productid=185   So it's an add on to existing Hondata ECU's which allows full 4-wheel sensor adjustable traction control. Anyone familiar with this set-up?

Since Racelogic no longer produce their TC, its become very difficult and very expensive to consider TC as an option.   It appears this unit differs from the Racelogic system in that it communicates directly with the Hondata ECU by PID, where as the RL unit could act independently as it was connected directly to either the injectors or ignition coils.

Ps.- Lets not start the TC control debate again, I know some dislike it (even though it can be switch off), while others see it as a potential benefit for driving on non-optimal road conditions in cars with a high torque / weight ratio.. ;)

Just looking at the connectors of the unit, it does have 4x outputs, as well as various others. Now whether these are direct outputs to injectors (like the RL system), I really don't know.. https://www.hondata....ctor_wiring.htm

Last thought, on OBD-Tuner, there is a spare input (from the removed EGR I think) which is sometimes used as a wideband signal (0-5v) - I wonder if its possible to modify thing to accept the analogue 0-5v signal also on the pinout..   An interesting other comment on the system I read: "Currently designed as a complement to Hondata’s s300, KPro and FlashPro engine management solutions, it is possible to adapt the traction control unit to work with any engine management system with a 5-volt auxiliary input. If the vehicle does not have an ABS system, installing ABS sensors is a must" http://dsportmag.com...action-control/

Is that a video of your Speedster Piwo?

How do you rate it, and any more technical info (the link is all in Polish I think..)?
