Ok, bought this engine last year from Nick, but haven't had time to fit it to the car since then. Now things have changed as I'm looking to buy an Exige V6 this year. So no point in keeping the engine in my garage as someone else might enjoy it more.

Specs of the engine (straight from Nicks original sale topic)

  • Z22SE Engine
  • 81,000miles -> 23,000 since total rebuild (58,642) by CMS
  • Wiseco 8.9 pistons, .02 oversize
  • Eagle rods
  • Comp blower cams stage 2
  • Balance shafts removed
  • Ported Z22SE cylinder head,
  • Supertech double valve springs
  • Saab B207 valves
  • 630 Siemens injectors
  • Courtenay lightened flywheel, competition clutch
  • Harrop 1320 S/C
  • LS4 TB
  • Dual Pass
  • F23 gearbox

Good for 400 BHP with OBD tuners package

£5000 for the full package

£3500 without the Harrop

Engine is located in Belgium, but I'm willing to bring it over the pond.

Depending on how things go for my project in the next 2 weeks, i may be needing this....

So the Engine has done 23,000 Miles running the Harrop?

May i ask what sort of use it has had?  Mostly Track?

Thanks!

Guess Nick can answer this better, I I haven't put a single mile on it.

Certainly, built by CMS and has done  23k since with the Harrop 1320, mostly road with a few track days, always looked after and oil changed at no more than 4000 ish  miles unless I did a track day then changed after, I know overkill but I was careful.  Ran it about 370 ish, and limited the max revs with obd tuners software, would need to dig the file out to know what it was now, should easily do 400 bhp, mapped properly.  Obd or aftermarket to run those figures.

it went with the injector loom also when I sold it.

Hi Denth,

Not a big issue, but does it come with any ECU running a Base Map by any chance?

I've got an ECU but doesn't have OBD yet.

Thanks

An OBD map is quite easy to install once you have the OBD software loaded, it's a common engine type - 2.2 SC Harrop / 350+

Didn't buy it from Nick with the ECU as I already had the OBD software (M62 supercharger on my car). So indeed just a question of getting the OBD mapping

Not a problem, decided to strip the car to get the most from it rather than as a whole. Car sat here on the drive but have decided to resurrect it.  Don’t tell the wife...

Timing chain, will have a look at the paperwork but I suspect it was replaced when CMS did the engine rebuild, Balance shaft deleted, no ARP studs on recommendation of CMS.
