As your engine is now making 50% extra heat (which is what stage 4 is if you drive it hard) and/or you see high water temps you could/should(?) consider getting a thicker oil (50 or even 60 grade in summer maybe). In the VX if you have the bottom floorpan off the oil can't as easily cool either.
Similar logic for the spark plugs, you should use a cooler running plug than OEM (due to the heat). Taking off the plastic cover in the centreline top of the cam cover can help reduce temps and thus reduce premature coil pack fatigue.

So no one has actually recommended an oil, they've recommended viscosity grades which really mean nothing under the high shear contacts in an engine (high shear occurs when two surfaces have a large difference in moving speed).
I would recommend Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40. It has a significant number of OEM claims which, in combination, provide a more robust oil than an oil without OEM claims, and it has a high HTHS, which afford real protection in the engine

I was reading a post of yours on this topic http://www.vx220.org...ne-oil/?hl=acea where you mentioned we should go for A3/B4 ACEA specification. Considering that, I have ordered Mobil Super 3000 x1 5w 40 for my VXT. Any objections on this decision?

I use shell helix ultra 5w40 in the Noble and the racecar. It's factory recommended for ferraris and endorsed by Tom.
it'll be good enough.
