Private Plate Opinions... "vxx" Or "vxt"?

Hi All,

 

I've just picked up a Stage 4 Turbo and I'm after a private plate to make the car look cleaner and add some prestige.

 

There's just one problem.. I can't decide whether to go for a plate ending with VXX or VXT.

 

I know it's my car (and my choice), but what's everybody's opinion?

You can get stuff like F4TVX or S4DVX or if you fancy more modern things like VX02HOT, VX02BAD and VX02FAB on the dvla site between 250-600.

My old plate was A8 VXT; makes sense in my mind if its a turdo.

That's it - VXT makes more sense but VXX is more visually appeasing (imo). I was also thinking of VXR but they're more expensive. Decisions :')

I know a guy with M3 VXX on retention and been offered about £50 for it so for me it's VXX but mine is not a turbo.

Im not a big fan of plates that have characters to represent the car its on. My opinion before anyone moans. Plates that have your name or Birthday is what I would look at buying. Then you can take it off and fit it to the next car.

I agree, other better ways to spend money on a car , blatant plug , like a remap from me , lol!

ST04 VXT at 250 parnds doesnt seem too bad and you could sell it to another stage 4 owner if needed. Dont be tempted to spend money on one that needs imagination to understand it.

My vxt came with a private plate that means nothing to me, unless i consider myself a Big Friendly Giant, however i like it cos it only has 5 digits so i can get away with a smaller plate on the front, which looks much better IMO.

Saw this too but not a fan of the dated reg - looks messy to me which is the opposite of what I'm going for.. if it was S4 VXT that would be another story! Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Smaller front 5 digit plate = win I had my rear plate made the same size which actually looks really good too, imho..
