heya fellas, having some issues sorting a 'steam line' on the engine outlet hose of my A20. does the standard NA top 'radiator' hose have a T fitting in it for the expansion tank? or does the steam line come directly off the block?
cheers

The steam line top the tank is connected to the head via a solid outlet near the water hose outlet.
(Z22SE use a slightly different thread fitting compared to a B207 head)
Cannot link a pic here, but google for an B207/Z22SE engine image and it's easy to spot.

i have a funny feeling the A20 has the turbo coolant return plumbed into that position (banjo fitting) so theres no hardline provision for the steam line. urghh annoying

Is there not also a connection to the undersidfe of the waterpump?

From memory the NA outlet hose bend has a slight higher point that breather outlet on the block, so best would be to fit the tank breather connection at that highest point there..
(you can have a fancy new custom hose-with-outlet made?? I think Dominique had a new outlet hose made-up in silicone)

hose 1 and 9 dont fit in the VX. you can use the existing NA hose, but theres no port. so cut and insert T fitting, but it gets a little awkward
ill see if i can find a fitting for the banjo bolt...
