please use below links for full details and pictures

Vx220 Turbo (this is an original Turbo)

I purchased from a vx220 forum member a few years ago. The car was great but the paint was very tatty as it was used for his daily driver. I decided to have a full respray in gloss white/Black. I have photos of before and during the respray to show there was no damage to the car it just needed a respray and I fancied a colour change.
I also had the wheels a fresh coat of gloss black
Only 59,000 miles with full service history all main dealer or vx220/elise specialists. Lots of other paper work included
Mot Jan 2019
Private plate V22 0GD included
Completely HPI clear unlike many vx220’s out there
Selling as I have used this twice in the time I have had it completing less than 100miles. I just don’t have the time running a business and family commitments so it seems a waste to just be sat there.

Interior-
Removable MOMO 78 steering wheel
Carbon fibre sill protectors
Carbon fibre door cards
Carbon fibre binnacle
Corbeau LE Pro seats
Schroth 4 point harness
Harness bar
Luggage Net

Exterior-

MMG Diffuser
Team dynamic alloys 16front 17rear
Hardtop
Xenon head lights

Suspension-

Gaz Monotubes

Uprated toe links

Engine/Gearbox-

Courtney stage 2+( RR 233bhp 276ft-lbs) this was done before the VXR turbo was fitted
Modified standard air box

VXR turbo
Blue Flame exhaust
SACHS fast road clutch

Quaife ATB differential
Solid engine mounts

Not much needed to get this to a stage 4 - bigger intercooler, injectors and a remap

The previous forum member I purchased off owned the car for the past 5 years and used it as his daily driver and he always had it serviced at Phoenix Motorsport in Accrington

Bad bits –
The inner sill on the drivers side is cracked where weight is put on it to get in and out (see picture)
Due to the steering wheel change the airbag light is on (this can be fixed with a resistor and is on a ‘how to’ guide on the vx220 forum)
crack in the top of the drivers door
paint chipped above vent/scoop
the seats could do with a good clean
the car could do with some general TLC as it has been sat in position for nearly 2 years. it starts, drives as it should i just mean cosmetic TLC

i think people get excited and bid without viewing. the winning bidder was on holiday so he said he couldn't view. he started asking questions after the auction and even though i didnt say anything different to the listing he thought it was to big a project to get mint.

i paid £12,000 less than 2 years ago from a forum member on here, I've done less than 100 miles since and its just been stood. i need the space as its at a friends unit now outside and needs it gone so I'm willing to let it go for the winning bid of £9,100 if anyone is interested. I believe that is an absolute bargain for anyone that has the time to sort it cosmetically

Thanks Strugs, yes that is correct my listing has finished. i will be re listing tonight on ebay for £9,990 with a minimum price of £9,000.

or i may do another Auction but i don't seem to have much luck with these.

i think I'm painting a worse picture of the car than it actually is and i believe its worth about £11-12k in the current state but unfortunately i no longer have any space and it needs to be gone within the next few weeks as its currently left outside in not the nicest of areas

i can confirm for everyone thats asked - it is HPI clear, i have never tracked and neither has the previous owner of 5 years but before then i do not know, it is an original Turbo, and it does have 59k on the clock which can be verified with mot's and service history.

the timing belt kit was completed 2 years ago but less than 1000 miles ago, as was a major service, discs and pads.

there are 2 other records of timing belt kits done at 40k and 20k.

i would much rather sell to a forum member so anybody that is interested please let me know before next weekend which is when i plan for the auction to end

I don't understand why it didn't sell sooner. Yes the cosmetic condition wasn't great but I pictured and detailed all the problems which would cost about £2k to sort of you have the time. It's been owned by a few forum members and I paid much more than this for it and it hasn't been used.
I'm not sure who JL37 is but I only had 2 people view the car. Did you actually come and see the car? What's the reason for you saying this when smashed up ones and cat cars are selling for more than this? I believe it's worth closer to £11k. Especially if it would be used as a track car it's a bargain

The market seems to be really bad at the moment, the whole trade is struggling from what I've heard.
