And new Clips.  Also it's good to know my car has only to look at a pothole and the tracking will be irrevocably destroyed needing the services of an after market specialist to...

Basically an advertorial.

Not sure if the little stings to Mclaren will play out in the end.

Could mean Mclaren will make him wait for his diagnostic tool as long as the vx community has been waiting for a 200 pound manifold.

A friend of mine has a 12c and is thinking of taking out the warranty that he's offering. What would you recommend? He comes across as very convincing in that clip.

Same ol JT. Would be interesting to know how many 12c’s they’ve worked on so far.

McLaren 540C is mechanically same (engine) to the 570S, it is simply software detuned , both use Bosch ME17.8.3.2

I've been looking into McLaren recently and right off I can say 2 to 3k for a warranty on a 12c is financially ludicrous. Check out the video of the guy in the US who fitted up all the warranty work his 4c had. It was 150k$

The 12c was experimental really and the warranty and on going support of the car is apparently a loss leader for them. Gearboxes and engines are not cheap and I don't think I would be trusting a small indie to foot the bill for me.

They are essentially pretty badly built cars which is why they are one of the worst cars for depreciation. At least if Indies are getting in on them owners will have somewhere to go when McLaren inevitably go bust.

Turnover, @£874m works out at £245k per vehicle sold so the numbers are not that small.

It is clear though that the Intangibles valuation is propping up the BS
