Failed MOT on emissions today and wanted some thoughts.
Failed on lambda (1.106 vs 1.030) - car was missing on slight throttle too. Adjusted the TPS to 0.75v which fixed the missing at low revs but not at high revs - but was then way out on all emissions.
One mistake I made was having the car mapped a while ago, but never checked what the TPS was set to at that stage so didn’t know it’s mapped position.
Have got stage 2 cams and head waiting to fit (along with SCS ecu) so not sure what to do....
Would poor TPS positioning cause the Lambda to be out?
How can I adjust it (without knowing it’s mapped position) to meet emissions?
Do I just not bother and fit the SCS stuff - and can this be adjusted easily to affect emissions?
Gutted it failed, as wanted to be able to test drive whilst setting up the new kit. As it stands, can rebuild but first drive will be to mot...
Thoughts....

fit the SCS ecu and get it mapped or try the MOT again with the base map
The webcon Alpha ecu was never great for a first time MOT pass and the main reason why a few owners have replaced the alpha ecu.
SCS has full user access, Alpha is locked to a webcon dealer
