Car's been away ages and finally came back without the keys or fob. I can get into the passenger side but the drivers door won't open at all, even though it is in the unlocked position.

Any ideas?

If it's locked with the fob you won't open by pulling up the stalk. There should be a button on the steering wheel shroud which may work.

Looks like an electric window switch from a Vectra or something.

Rocker switch works ok, you can hear the clicking and it pops the buttons up and down but still no joy on the drivers door.
