Hi
I took my car for an mot but before the test it dropped a huge pool of oil under the car. Left it at the garage as they offered to have a look whilst on the ramp.
Spoke today and they said the oring on the filter had let go and this caused the loss of nearly all the oil. Now they said they had a new filter and oring coming, but I fear it may not be the OEM quality that's maybe needed.
Is there any way to seal the filter to leave t this happening again?
