Considering potential exhaust change options.

I do not know if 2bular still manufacture for the VX, but they are close so will find out.

However, does anyone use one on their VX?  All good?

Thanks.

Jim is a top guy and I found their fabrication to be top quality. The downside is that he's a bit sporadic with VX manufacture so worth a call before you set your heart on it.

Yep will 2nd that, not spoken to Jim for many years mind

Dave Hardwick exhaust another premium quality item with jedi welding and fabrication skills. Also you can decide on backbox size to adjust noise levels from uber quiet to offensive :)

I had one on mine and it was brilliant, great noise yet no drone and generally not a problem on track (its usually the airbox that causes the grief).

Mine had a big silencer box so made life difficult when fitting but other than that a great system that still looked in great nick after a few years use.

I know someone who can make a good quality replacement for probably much less than (unless you want Ti or inconel, then he's a bit more expensive).

Based up near Turriff. Depends what you want (noise, flow, less weight etc.)

Nah not them. A chap who makes custom exhausts (and various other things) for mostly competition cars and a variety of other stuff.

I have one on my Turbo which is good. Sounds nice on chat but not loud when cruising. Don't expect any kind of communication at all from Jim... He is good at fabricating exhausts but that's it as far as the customer experience goes!

AFAIK he stopped VX exhausts for anyone other than liam at mmg years ago.

I have a 2bular 3inch system, manifold, 100cat and its great. There were some fitment issues that meant I have to use a spacer at the manifold to stop it from fouling on the water pipe but otherwise it is good. The quality is very good and it sounds nice, not too loud (for a 3inch system anyway!)

However, I believe he doesn't make them for VX's anymore, he seems to be busy enough making top end Lambo systems etc that the amount he would charge for a VX one would price it out of most peoples markets.
