Transmission Noise Only On Heavy Accelaration

My VX 220 NA  is fine in most respects but I find that on heavy acceleration there is contact somewhere between the drive shafts and the car that stops as the throttle is backed off.

Any ideas as to how serious this is or identifying what it might be will be appreciated

Quite likely to be the N/S engine mount, due to the asymmetric gearbox location.

 

FYI: N/S engine mount needs to be considerably stronger than the O/S.
