Firstly, sorry if this has been covered, but I’ve done a search and can’t find anything.
Just got my VXT back from the paint shop and whilst it would start on the button before it went and whilst at the paint shop, when I picked it up the bugger wouldn’t turn over.
I checked the fuel rail and there was next to no fuel pressure at the rail, tried cleaning up all the terminals on the boot relays, checked all the fuses, nothing, we ended up pushing it up onto the trailer.
When I came to take it off the trailer, I thought I’ll just try bumping it off, it fired up straight away!
I’ve had the battery on my c-tec conditioner all night and it’s fully charged - still won’t turn over.
I’m assuming something is immobilising the starter circuit but before I start trawling through the wiring schematics can anyone offer any insight into what it might be?
Thanks in advance.

Check the negative lead from the battery where it bolts to the chassis, that sometimes comes loose or gets corroded and you'll get hard to find intermittent starting probs. A squealing dash is another really weird symptom of the same problem.
