Probably a subject covered many times but does anyone have any suggestions, apart from flocking, to reduce the annoying reflection of dashboard air vents?

This or have it retrimmed in alcantara, which judging on previous threads isnt that expensive as dash top can be removed and is only relatively small.

No solution apart from retrimming the whole thing in a matte material and removing the vents.

The crappy material vauxhall used for the dash is quite shiny, so quite reflective.

As Foxy_Jr says, polarised glasses! That's exactly what I do with my trackday cam. Use a polariser filter.

That will cut out about 75% of reflections but I don't think its possible to completely eliminate them.

Alcantara stops the reflection of the dash but the only way to stop the reflection of the vents is remove them or as Foxy_jr says wear sunglasses.
