So, I have an aeration pump for my lake which has never worked. When you plug it in it clicks and then fuses half of Devon and this was after I put in a new fuse in the plug.

Having taken it all apart I think the capacitor is fubarred but it seems easier to buy Heroin than it is to find one of these things.  They all seem to come from China which doesn't surprise me however I would like one now as such rather than next Christmas....can anyone help?  Many Thanks

It is as follows -

Have you looked at RS Components, they seem to have a few 470V ac 35uF with wired connectors?  I'm not sure if these are the exactly correct spec but worth have a look.

Have you tried ebay?  I got a capacitor for my pressure washer on there.
