I discovered recently that my drivers side fog light HD melted and fallen in half. So after nearly breaking my wrist and fitting anot her nearly new one (supplied by Vocky, thanks)
I have now discovered the passenger side one is also going the same way.
I hope I'm not stating the obvious, but the fog light unit front the Smart Fortwo looks remarkably similar, albeit the adjustment mounting screw is off centre and not in the middle.
So.... ordered one to see, arrived today, and is indeed the same save for a couple of obvious differences.
The adjuster is off centre at the top, but only need to drill a new hole in the mounting plate.
However, on inspection, the main difference seams to be that the part where the bulb fits is made of cast aluminum, and the 'bowl' of the lamp it connects to appears to be metal.
So hopefully will not melt?
I'll try to upload pictures when I fit them.
