Been a long time but finally joined. I have a VX220, bought it in 2002, it’s done about 27000 miles. Been reading posts on here for a long time, great site, lots of helpful members. I’ve had most of the normal faults with my VX and one or two I haven’t seen. I really need to take it out of retirement, last time on road five years ago, and start playing with it. Just never seemed to get the time. I’m a retired engineer and just want to keep it standard. It needs a re spray, but otherwise just upgrades. Biggest problem I got is at 71, is getting in and out of it. Anyway nice to join your site, once I get started I know where to come for help.

Welcome!  Interesting how this little car cuts across the age barrier, I'm 75 now and still enjoying mine, we need a thread on the forum for the older members I think!!

Great idea madmitch. We can introduce younger members to interesting topics like. How to wash a VX without bending. Raising the suspension so you can get in without bending.
