Hi there.

Recently decided I want to treat myself to a VX and thought a good way to start is get on the forum to find advise on buying, best model, what mods etc. I have been into my cars for a while and do the occasional trackday/sprint at Brands, Snetterton and Goodwood. My friend has recently bought a vx220 turbo from Jon Seal up in Wakefield and after driving his VX decided this car ticks all the boxes for me.

Anyway hope to attend some meets in the future. I'm sure I will be having a nose on the forums regularly for info.  Let the search for my VX begin!

All the best.

John

Welcome! Loads of info on here, you should be able to find what you're looking for. 'Standard' models are the NA (2.2) and Turbo (2.0) along with the rarer, limited-edition VXR (Turbo, upgrades and mods from the factory). Best mod on an for power on an NA is to supercharge it. Budget and what you intend to use the car for would dictate what model would be best for you?

Where in Sussex are you?

I'm in Brighton

Hi chaps, sorry just came back to the thread, well I picked an sc one up from Jon Seal yesterday. Top guy to deal with. Bit rough round the edges but lots of nice bits and over time I plan to tidy it up.  Hopefully we have some dry weather soon
