Hi all

I thought this just giving page deserved a thread by itself.

https://www.justgivi..._term=MAQvJYz2b

In addition Frankie has asked if i would collate pictures of Luke and or his car, she is very much trying to keep Lukes memory alive for their daughter Lyla.

This is just another reminder that if you have pictures, even if you feel that they are insignificant, they do paint the picture of one aspect of Luke's life.

Please do trawl through your albums and if possible email them to me at jclifton@yorkcollege.ac.uk

Many thanks

Can we think of the passenger here please? As they have been left with apparently ‘life changing injuries’ I must have seen about a dozen fundraising things for Luke on fb today(which is to be applauded) and not once do I see the passenger mentioned....... just sayin

According to the news the pax is in hospital in Swansea but I'm sure the hospital will only release details/updated to family NoK

And that's the difficult part, we don't know who they are.

There's a section in the just giving that refers to the passenger, Frankie has commented on the facebook site and basically has said that they have not been forgotten, those who need to know do, and its up to their family to release news or not as appropriate.

She states that he will be supported in every way, and that's how the fund will be used by Frankie in my opinion.

My understanding only, but from a purely financial perspective the pax can claim on the car insurance?

I think it may be wise to not discuss the accident or the financial consequences of the accident on an open forum as it is not that simple, once all the circumstances have been determined by the police etc, the legalities progress from there.

The passenger and family have asked for their identities to be left unknown for the time being, so no one will be pushing to find more information out of respect for this decision. Those who need to know what's going on do so already.

We're not here to discuss the accident details or causes. We're here to show support for his family.

A huge thank you to everyone who has given to the JustGiving page to help support his family already. A truly amazing amount of support from our little plastic car community!
