So this last summer did my car develop a rather annoying metallic rattle at the left side of the steering wheel (LHD car) when going over bumbs in the road.
I had a few looks under the wheel while crawling around the pedals but is nothing there that could cause a rattle.
So I figured I had to take away the dash to find the culprit and then grease my ventilation cable at the same time.
After a lot of sweating (prying away 17 years old plastic parts gets on my nerves) I got the dash out of the car.
But I still cannot find anything that could cause a rattle. Nothing is loose.
Is there anybody that could point me in some direction that I have missed so far? Something that usually would come loose?
