Fibreglass Advice

I have had a fair amount of fibreglass work on the vx by a fibreglass specialist.

The work looks well reinforced and strong - however i have a few concerns if anyone has an experiance and could answer some questions.

Main concern is the finish isn't particularly level/smooth with the rest of the bodywork. Its not far out and he said the filler primer the spray shop use will get rid of this. (I was expecting to get it back all ready and prepared to drop at the spray shop)

Secondly there are a few areas with hairline cracks which i imagine is where the resin has gone off/shrunk a bit. Will the filler primer remove these with no cracking or problems in the future?

If anyone could give some advice i would really appreciate it.

Do you have pictures? I did a repair of my front clam, there were no cracks despite a lot of resin used...

Its like lots of little hair line cracks.
After looking again it looks like some sort of filler on the top rather than resin.

Cam you provide details about the damage and the process used...
Was there some missing parts or just cracked areas ?
I would not worry about your first concern...but of course it needs to be adressed with filler ... So all depends on the remaining defect...
For the second point i think its not good... Normally you should not see any cracks... Cracks are due to unwanted stress... Either a knock or thermal stress.. or else...
