Are these thicker than the old ones? The first time I used one in the past, it warped straight away and was unusable. Not sure why they don’t have radiused edges where the handle meets the main body, thats where the previous one gave up.

exactly why i made mine with the radiused edges. 

 

joe's are 6mm thick and he has tested them at least to the required NM the cap needs without damage so they will probably be totally fine :)

A practice hint for the manufacturer. It is better for using, when the noses are not symmetrical distributed.

IT is my practical experience of the tool, which has been sold three years ago.
