Hi all,

Thanks for allowing me on to your forum and thanks to my friend coldel for introducing me!

So, about me...

I've been in this game for many years now, producing logos, sunstrips, car wraps and graphics etc.

I've always been a petrolhead, i currently own a modified 350z.

During my travels to shows and meets across the country, one thing i always noticed was the amount of money people spent on their beloved cars, me included!

But what let a lot of the cars down was the cheap graphics and sunstrips bought online from various ebay like merchants...so i decided to start making graphics, badges and tees myself, with quality materials and attention to detail.

My outlook is, if if the product isn't good enough to put on my own car then i wont sell it.

So, that said, I'm wondering whether fellow petrolheads would be interested in the production of a club tee for this forum.

The t-shirt will not be available anywhere else other than this forum and im quite happy to design you 2 or 3 variants. My car t-shirts usually follow a simple line drawing theme with a slight modified look.

I also produce custom car badges, mainly chrome colour variants including red chrome, gold chrome and other colours. Currently i am working on the VX220 rear logo.

If youd be interested in the above please like this post.

Thanks for your time, Steve

 .org logo face masks?  :ninja:

The badges could be very useful if they could be replicated accurately, there was a phase of debadging a few years back that a few people are starting to regret.

Hi smiley,

Yup it will be as exact as i can get it...and in various chrome colours, so if you owned a blue vx like coldel's you may want a gold chrome vx220 badge.

Hi ayresyy,

I can replicate them pretty accurately, id just need to know that there is a market for them.

I can possibly make the masks too, again, if there was enough interest!

Steve

Sounds good.
You hit the sweet spot here, as mentioned earlier we are getting into a fase were lots of owners start seeing it as a future classic and the F&F era is starting to close.
Lot's of badges removed, and no (well difficult) availability.

There are 3 main badges to think about:
- vx220
- speedster
- turbo

Here is the original production number of these cars (i think about 20% is gone)

4052 speedster NA, 1000 speedster turbo
1214 vx220 NA, 941 vx220 turbo

I have a spare speedster badge lying around that could be used as a template.
I will wait for the first feedback from the vx220 release, and then maybe we could talk.

Ahh thanks for your feedback! Thats great!

Ive drawn the VX badge and the Turbo badge.

If i could grab the speedster badge that would be great!

Or you if you could send me a high quality photo of it with a length and thickness then even better!

Maybe i could try that first.

Thanks smiley thats a real help!

Steve

They are still out there, but so rare, that pricing has become a bit silly.
vx220  http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=274321557430
turbo  http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=174321984828

You could put the feelers out to borrow an oem one to get as close as possible.

If that fails, you could request very detailed specs of them (or very upclose pictures) of them to get an as exact replica as possible.

I think there will be more interest in the replicas, then your custom ones.

Better take an inventory before cranking up the printer.
