Hey! After many years of being a member on here i have finally taken the plunge and bought a VX turbo from a family friend who has owned the vehicle for last 15 years. Its a moonland grey with charge cooler system and upgraded exhaust. No remap yet!

Having driven the car home from South Wales i love it. Only thing i noticed is gear selection doesnt feel smooth, not a mechanical issue but more like the selector may be worn or cables possibly.

Are there any meets in the Worcestershire/West Mids area? Would be good to pick someones brains on a few things. Especially around remapping etc.

I'm in Worcestershire, near Inkberrow/Feckenham. We have meets at Caffeine and Machine, or did pre-covid. They haven't started back up yet but I'm guessing we will do a mid week meet in the evening at some stage. Weekends are a little harder to organise as it seems to be a 3 week lead time to booking.

Mine's an SC for what it's worth but there are a few turbo owners about.

Hey! Caffeine and Machine meet sounds good, been meaning to go here for ages to, but covid has kind of got in the way. My old man has mentioned Wheels on Wednesday, next one is fully booked but will prob go to the one in June! Let me know if you go so i can pick your brain!

The car was from just outside Newport in Bassaleg. Grew up in South Wales just outside Abergavenny! Where about in South Wales are you from?

Anyone know if there is anywhere in West Midlands at all? I'm thinking Thorney Motorsport may be my best shout.

You're not too far at all then! im down near Evesham. Would be good to arrange something for Caffeine machine one evening! I think Shelsley Walsh do an evening car meet now and again, would be a good run out there if anyone fancied it.
