Stunning, apart from the chrome on the wiper blades.

Mangham, they are no longer on the car but these were originally fitted for a reason and were fitted along time before the local corsa had them basically to keep the wipers on the screen at high speeds on track etc

I fully understand the reasons for them and on that are completely appropriate. But if it was still on the car I would have made them less 'blingy' with a bit of black hammershite.

Still looks bloody fantastic. thumbsup

Cheers Mangham, and your right Hammershite would have been a must if they were still on the car! thumbsup

Have you had the mains caps girdled? I remember pro-sport 3000's dropping their guts if pushed too hard.

My dad used to own 2 of these a few years back now, we had a nice early red one with mirrors on the wings, then a white one a bit nearer, sure it was a 2.0. Used to love them when I was a kid.

Beautiful!

Always loved Capris.

My dad borrowed a MK 1 from a dealer in the mid seventies. We were three boys that promised in unison that we did not care at all that the back seat was cramped. Just PLEASE buy this car.

No. We got a Taunus instead.

Alright Stew,

What a small world, I actually remember your place as I remember the white Subaru you had at the time that was a flying machine.

My dads still got the Capri.

Are you still doing stuff ? I’ll drop you a PM
