Ive done some research and it seems that i might have a problem using my VSE with the chris tullet downpipe that is being delivered tomorrow (and i dont mean the noise ). By the sounds of it i could have a corrosion problem like the one in the thread about the ali chassis and steel washers.
Is there something i can put between the stainless steel downpipe and the mild steel backbox to prevent corrosion?

an electrically insulating gasket.
i wouldn't of thought that water would hang around too long in the joint areas though.
