How much would you be looking at to a spare set of n/a headlights? Just wondering, as I was thinking of a angel eye conversion as a project before I can get my vx insured to drive Thanks in advance stefan

Always read figures of £800 a side brand new. I think a member on here was planning on producing a run though which I imagine would be more affordable.

In very good condition...........lets say £500 - £700 a pair.  Average condition £400 - £450.  Poor condition. Up to £300 a pair.  All in my opinion of course,

Keep them as they are, they're becoming difficult to get hold of and will only increase in value.

I will (eventually) have replacement headlights and in the process will have some customisation options. I suggest waiting until then to decide what you want to do as they won't be such a sought after commodity.

I've never seen them on a vx I just had thoughs guys, nothing serious, now I have seen that post I don't really like the look anyway if I'm completely honest, looks like staying original is the way to be

Wise man.

They are just to expensive too muck around with.

I really like the visibility over oem's though.

Not to mention the steel goonies you'd have to have to get inside the headlight itself, i mean I would be a bit squeaky bum about cutting into them!, I think the original visibility sucks, my test out some 4300k hids see what it look like?, seems like it would be an easier approach to the whole thing

Ahem... I don't think these look *THAT* bad. It's the strips that follow the unit contours and anything else that looks obviously DIY that really suck.

I have to agree with that.

You're looking at my testlight cluster though.

My real ones are black, and once the ring is sprayed black, and the leds have had small coat of lense darkener, you would have to look twice to see the mod.

Ah, no, I think you've picked me up wrong. I think yours actually look fine from what I can see on my phone anyway. It's just that I've seen quite a few horribly bodged DIY jobs on other cars, not even VXs. See some around that look like a strip of LEDs with self-adhesive backing. Invariably, these have a few failed LEDs, to perfect that crappy, cheap, DIY chav look.
