Working in computer science, I will be interested by making a data logger for the speedster. So I'm looking for technical informations about data communication between the ECU and the other parts of the car ( bus CAN, ... )
Help welcome

http://www.scantool.net/
They have a link on their software page to a Pocket PC version of the logging software, and also let you download their source code.
The hardware doesn't look too expensive either - specially if you don't buy their box.

Thank's for the link. It's very interesting.
Do you know where I can find the OBD-II ISO connector ?

I'd imagine somewhere like RS, Farnell or Maplin would do them.
Failing that - I think they were selling the shells seperately on their site.
When I get my car, think I'll be ordering some stuff from there - just to see what's happening. It would be nice if we could get something like VAG-COM going for Vauxhalls / Opels
cheers

Check this thread out on the Lotus forum:

It's all explained pretty well there. Looks like most of the common data that you might be interested in is standard across all cars. The manufacturer specific stuff is harder to get to and probably not worth it anyway.
