Has anyone removed the load of pipework around the filler neck? Its for the fuel evaporator and control valve. Thinking of it but not sure what will happen regarding the ecu. Theres a vacum pipe and a sensor.

I removed everything, left only the sensor and that little plastic thing it attaches on... mind you, I have an ally elise tank, with only 2 hoses to the intake fuel, and not 4. car is running ok. I had to add a one-way valve to allow air to compensate for fuel being used inside tank....before that, being air-tight, it created a vacuum that shrunk the tank walls!!

Ricky, where did you one way valve fit ? Was it on the overflow pipe that connects right at the top of the fuel filler pipe? Paul
