Right, we now have a couple more wheel options available to us. After the pita that was dealing with Oz we've now sorted an exclusive deal with Team Dynamics for 2 of their wheel packages designed and created specifically for our cars (and their daft sizes).

Option No. 1 - Team Dynamics Pro Prace 1.2

Posted Image

Weight - 7.5kg's
Colour - Black, white, silver

16" and 17" front wheel sizes

Price £650 incl VAT per set. These are custom made for us so bolt straight onto the cars without the need for spacers or wobbly bolts. They come complete with TMS centre caps. The wheels will fit over the AP brake kits.

Option No. 2 - Team Dynamics Pro Race 2

Posted Image

Weight - 8.0kg's
Colour - Black, white, silver

16" and 17" front wheel sizes

Price £650 incl VAT per set. These are custom made for us so bolt straight onto the cars without the need for spacers or wobbly bolts. They come complete with TMS centre caps. The wheels will fit over the AP brake kits.

The first order of 25 sets has been made and we'll have them in 3 weeks. For the first order we've got a discounted price of £599 for the complete set. To order one of the first 25 sets we'll need a £250 deposit so contact me to get your name down. Team Dynamics have promised us a long term joint venture on these wheels so we should have no on going supply issues as we had with Oz and even with the VXR Speedline wheel.

Having just had a look at the Team Dynamics site, the Pro-race 1.2 wheels on there are pictured like this:

Posted Image

They have a much thicker rim than the one in the first post, which to my eye changes the look quite a lot. In fact the one in Johns post above looks more like one of the pics for the Pro-race 1 wheels.

Is this just a case of the different wheel diameters resulting in slightly different proportions? John: Is the picture you've posted above one of the actual 17" or 16" wheels?

You're right, but on the Demon Tweaks site (and a few others) they look like Thorney's pic.

Hi John, i'm very interested in a set of the 'Option No. 1 - Team Dynamics Pro Prace 1.2' and have PM'd you. Can you assure me however that they will look like your photo and not that one posted by 'Gouldy' as they look

Hmmm, I've just had a look around on the internet and from the other images I've found I reckon that pic I've posted above is a really small size, and therefore the rim looks huge in comparison to the diameter. Also if you look at the relative size of the pcd and the way they've had to frig the 'spokes' around to get them to all fit in the middle, it seems to confirm this. I'm sure John will be along in a minute to clear up the confusion I've caused......

Just to be sure, the 1.2's are 5 stud? edit: Are the 16" front wheels proper VXR sizes, so they're wider than the standard (non-VXR) wheels? How many companies produce rubber in the sizes required?

Are these the same sizes as the Speedlines/oz's? i.e: can I fit A048's R888's Will the £599 price apply to 16" fronts only?

OEM wheels weigh over 10.5kg's each so they are very heavy and do effect how the car handles - lighter wheels = better handling. We'll be able to supply them in 16" fronts and 17" (although why you'd want 17" is beyond me as the best size for the car is 16"). This means you can run sticky track rubber or decent Toyo T1-R tyres. The picture I've post is the correct one, the one with the silver rim is an 'enhanced' one from TD to show the writing in the edge. Our weehls willhave this writing etched into the wheel (looks pretty cool) but the thick edge is not present. Ie they do NOT have that silver edge.

so best setup is 16" fronts and 17" rears?
