My mate has just bought this...

C20XE on Webber Alpha Throttle bodies basically standard apart from heavy duty rod bolts and different cams and a Joe Ellis BTB exhaust (which is what SBD etc use)It was a car Courtenay have done..

Posted Image

I'll get a sound file of it when he takes me for a spin..

At idle the car is very quiet and stays that way until you stamp on the throttle then all hell brakes loose!! B) I would say the car isnt as loud as my XE on SBD/Jenvey set up, which i suppose is probably a good thing considering the engine is right behind your head in the VX!! :D But it still sounds very nice!! B)

Whats the latest then... anyone know?

Cheers

Nick chinky chinky

Some vids i took with my phone (not the best quality but the sounds ok!) while i was out in my Nova last night (SBD/Jenvey/MBE) ive tried converting them to mp4 but for some reason they aint workin?? so they are in .3gp format..

On one of the tunnel ones (Manchester Airport) listen out for the pop, after the gear change B)

>Vids<

Cheers

Spoke to webcon last friday, they said they will start on my car wednesday, tomorrow. Shouldn't be long with it, they just want to tweek it to get the most out of it. Then it's back to us to be put together, although the workshop is quite busy at the moment. So maybe longer than would be normal. However in my books it says it is HIGH PRIORITY...... :D . Seriously though shouldn't be too long now. Must say I'm getting quite excited. WHEN we get the national sorted, it will be there and passenger rides wil be given to potential buyers!! Ian

It is definately on there, spoke to Richard, managing director of the place. he wants it out the door ASAP aswell so he can start selling the kits to us. Just to add, he said thaty he was very excited by the results so far, but he wouldn't tell me what they were. Ian

Rubber, Any more thoughts about a 'ram air' type snorkel cold air feed? We discussed it briefly whilst I was at TMS a while ago... Rob

Rob, going to see how it goes first. Problem is the more you add the more expensive the kit becomes. Ian
