Now loads of folk on here are going to start saying...
...whats the point
......more drag
.........no performance gain
(much like the current roof vent thread)
Who cares, they look the Mutts Nuts and I want some!!

Well, if you're refering to my thread I actually intend to use it they way it's designed. To get some cool air into the coupe while keeping the windows up. As a start I'll try to locate a hardtop though so that I have something to cut in

Ah that explains why they're that way up then - didn't think there'd be much airflow through them
Presumably you can view them as a group of mini 'tubby style spoilers' above each wheel then
yep, they let air out of them opposed to the usual air-intakes

The reason that we have made these wents are purely for th aerodynamics The shape do as Thorney say work as a sort of spoiler but the main reason for us is to get rid of the high preassure air that is stuck in the wheelarches. This air generates forces that lifts the car. The wents takes care of this problem by letting the air out. The shape of the wents helps sucking the air out by creating a low preassure zone behind them. Our front lip is designed as an upside down wing that puches even more air into the wheelwells so the vents and the cutting behind the frontwheel is essential to generate as much downforce as possible up front.

What's with the SUV runner boards?
Preventing air from escaping on the sides of the car, further improving the tunneleffect underneath

Cool! Looks a bit agricultural though. Next you need one of these attached
