Just noticed on another forum that there's been a spate of rip offs buy someone in the buy and sell areas. Basically he posts that he's having a garage clearout with loads of parts at bargain prices. Buyers pay with paypall and never see anything. Appears he's done a ford forum and an opel one (among others). An example of his work:

Be careful out there.

Till next time.

ha. I think we should all play along with it if he comes here. Ask him for rear wiper blades, power steering looms, electric window mechanisms etc.

Turns dodgy quite quickly to be fair  Starts off saying he has a few parts for sale Then that turns into alloys Then full interiors Then he "remembers" he has a load of engines hidden away at the back of the garage You'd be gutted if you'd paid him - they do seem like bargain basement prices

That reminds me, as the racing season is about to start, I need to make way in my garage. I've been building and mod'ing VX's for a few years now and I've collected loads of spare parts that I need to get rid of. If you want anything, list them here and you can send me the money via PayPal. Due to my job, I can't offer pick up, but I will send out items very quickly and you will next day. I've loads of parts and can offer them very cheap, here's a non-inclusive list to give you an idea; Front Clam (Silver), no marks - £40 Rear Turbo Clam (Moonland), brand new - £30 Rear NA Clam (Red), brand new - £15 Pair of Turbo Headlights, used, but no marks - £7.50 NA Alloys - Full set, painted black - £15 Let me know, you can pay me direct to cantbelievepeoplefallforthis@hotmail.com via paypal.
