I saw your run Dan, - I was sitting on grassy bank at the time, - looked good, your motor looked like it delivered the power smoothly & swiftly, - looks like you got a good buy with that motor, nice one mate :)

Cheers Phil... yes it was nice and smooth, hardly any wheelspin (if none at all) thanks to the supersticky 888 tyres and a good clean launch :) I really enjoyed the day and will be going again to try and get in the 12's :) Dan

What sort of time did it post on the second run? I thought the 274mph top speed on the first run was pretty impressive!

I don't think the contest really took off, last time I looked only 3 people had registered their times even though there were plenty of VXs on the strip.

TBH I'm not sure the TB car did 13.08 - no timing slip was produced anyway, and on its run it was up against a stage 2 turbo that crossed the line a good bit ahead, and IIRC i don't think any VXs did much under 13 all day.......

first run 60ft - 2.2391 1/4 - 13.7041 speed 99.74 second run 60ft - 2.1590 1/4 - 14.0122 speed - 102.02 third run 60ft - 2.2981 1/4 - 13.8392 speed 104.14 comparing my 60ft times i think the second run would of been my best time but i missed 3rd gear  also I only just realised why my first run terminal speed is lower then the others, i let off the accelerator just a bit before the finish line poof

first run

60ft - 2.2391
1/4 - 13.7041
speed 99.74

second run

60ft - 2.1590
1/4 - 14.0122
speed - 102.02

third run

60ft - 2.2981
1/4 - 13.8392
speed 104.14

comparing my 60ft times i think the second run would of been my best time but i missed 3rd gear

wouldnt worry too much about the terminal speeds. i dotn think theyre that accurate..

whats the chances that i would get 110.83mph on two runs? random number generator..
