02(02) Calypso NA
54k miles
11 months MOT
tax to 30/9 (I'll do a deal on that if I get an offer close to what I want)
Full service history (vaux and TMS)
TMS stage 2+
Turbot spoiler and splitters
Turbot roof seals
Steinmetz grille
All the black bits are now silver
Scared stifff geo
Mintex 1144's a couple of months ago
New bridgies a couple of months ago
1 previous owner (vaux)
All receipts/tax discs/mot's since new.
AFAIK all the relevant recalls have been done inc the vacuum pipe and wheels
Maintained regardless of cost, it's obviously been my passion for 5 years.
Bad points:-
A few (not many) stone chips (you know the ones)
I wont lie the seat bolster is knackered, It must be my boney arse
Paint on the inside of arches has suffered at tad
So pretty much all the TADTS
All around the car is in very good condition (I'm sure a few of you that know me and have seen the car will vouch for that)
You have as long as it takes me to get the plate transfered before it gets traded.
£10.5k OVNO
I'll take some more pics If requested, but I think we all know what they look like.
BTW I only take cash....the money will be required to be deposited in my account before the keys/documents are handed over.
Test drives will require proof of insurance I'm afraid...although I'm very happy to take potential purchasers out for a spin.
Car will be put on pistonheads over the weekend.

Could be interested.
Just a few quick questions:
1. Do you have a picture to show the extent of the damage to the seat bolster?
2. Have the engine mounts been replaced?
3. Whereabouts are you based?
1. Not a recent picture no....do a search on bolsters by me and there is a pic from 2 years ago. Suffice to say its worse now, But its a £120 fix and TBH I've priced it accordingly.
2. yep both done in April 2006....no receipt for that though, as It was done by a friend of mine who did it for beer money documented pretty extensively around the site though.
3. Bristol
It's saddened me quite a lot even considering selling the vx
Chas, something faster (or so I'm told)

and not a more well maintained car will you find..
Jules is even too to track it, so it's been very well loved.
Why thank you Coco.
The next car will forever seal my entrance into the car hall of fame...(if it all pans out)

Hey Jules, long time no speak.... Sounds like you are aiming to get rid quite quickly?
I shall be looking for another VX, probably mid/late August though. Good luck with the sale, depending on timings, I may give you a call
How you doing mate?
I've got to get the plate transfered onto retention first, and I'm led to believe it might be a few weeks before I can transfer the old plate back on....I'm hopefully viewing a car next week, so It may well be a deposit and wait job. I'm going to try to negotiate a deal for cash and PX/cash either way
If it doesn't sell before then (bargain IMO) I'll let you know

Just seen this!
I thought you might be one of the ones that never sells theirs.
Anyway, for the potential purchasers you couldn't go far wrong with this one. Properly maintained, lovingly looked after there aren't that many like this out there anymore. I'm fully expecting to see a post 10 down from here, explaining how Jules came to his senses.
James.
Well no response whatsoever on here, so I'm going to put it on PH tomorrow....that will be a big shame for me....the car has getting on for 2k of extras/tuning compared to others at the same price.
Hey ho

Good luck with the sale.
I'd have bitten your hand off it had been a couple of months earlier.
Likewise a month or two later...

And looking again, its almost identical to mine bar the mileage and BB. Its a real bargain especially as its a forum member, maintained regardless, Stage 2+ and never been tracked!
Whats wrong with buyers these days? First Jimbobs Tubby, then this near perfect NA.
Good luck with the sale Jules!
