Spoke with chris about the LET block reportably being weaker than the LEH and he said there was no difference, a 'block & castings' expert had compared the two for him and said they were the same!

That's fair enough. I would have a word with danger7 though as he's had a very different experience and engine castings are his buisness.

Yep Spoke with Ian at the National about it maybe he had a flawed LEH block? certainly Chris did not think it was an issue or worth changing from LEH to LET?

It does. Poured some on the radiator to help cool it and gave out a nice smelling cloud

Really could have done with elise shop sending the caliper boots I ordered last Sunday! Would have been nice to fit them this weekend so I can fix the brakes and drive the thing! Wish they had answered my phonecalls today as well!

Mine came with bolts, or do you mean the pad retainer pins? You painting the calipers up, or just sticking them straight on?

I'm a perfectionist. I've painted mine for the sake of it and at little cost. I collected mine so have seem the bulk he had. Some were bad and others fine. I don't think any had dust covers for the pistons. You might need to get them. And check the bleed nipples have covers.
