OK, I'm currently looking at a Black E55k (519 lb ft!), a Classic 80's 911 or a Moonstone 3Dr Cosworth. It's a disease I have! I may need to take out a trader policy and just give in as I last about 2 months with any car at the moment! :)

Good shout bob, in the manual and it says to check when engine is at operating temp but after a couple of mins of stopping to allow oil to accumulate in the sump. Checked mine when it was cold and is showing full. Will check again if I get a chance to drive her tomorrow

Oil when cold was full, at temp it dropped one bar. Topped up now showing full at operating temp. Garage must have filled her up cold, but due to the overheating problem forgot to recheck when hot. Sorted. Now the final rattle.....the driverd window!
