Same for me, you can't turn down work and the job needed to be finished to keep the contract. Got in at 12.30 so 30 hours all in. Steve was working at Uckfield.

does it really matter if you decide to self service your vx, especially if you take it off the road for a year?

-
Andrew aka Stuwy
well I no longer trust anyone else to do it other then me and mates..

In reality the answer is no it doesn't matter. But remember any break in service history will be reflected in offers / selling prices when you come to sell the car.
Even if you were the greatest motor-technician in the world - convincing a prospective buyer (or dealership) of that will always be a little bit difficult.

I don't mind being soft for 6 months james. I can at least then go out in public and to meets and not get stared / laughed at.

Now if only the weather would sort itself out you'd be able to fit them. Or are you doing it in your garage?
Apr 24 2012 11:49 AM -
Craig S
In the garage, so should get one side finished tonight. If you need to use the garage on Thurs / Fri feel free.

The missus was recently in Germany and spotted an Opel Speedster on an Opel forecourt. They were asking for €28,000 for it!!

Zx in france
10-year old Speedsters go for almost €20K here in France.....that's why I got a UK VX (£8K). It's got the steering wheel where god intended it to be also :)
