Front and rear poly mounts fitted and new suspesnion done all in 4 hours. Good times.

The suspension part is easy, the mounts arnt though. Happy to lend a hand if you want. The money ive saved in labour at PSR was worth the it I think.

Is Vxl still the best place to get a manifold gasket for when I swap my backbox? Is it best to get the M8 nuts from them too?

Yeah some sort of gasket was replaced between the backbox and cat as there was nothing left!

I won't be taking these tyres on track but there is just enough life left that I don't want the £350 expense of replacing two rears.

Ok fair enough, I still wouldn't really be repairing this type of tyre. If you wanna drive it hard at least, and if not why have 888's anyway. Safety first.
